**Community Input Survey**

Morgan County, the City of Bostwick, the City of Rutledge, and the Town of Buckhead are partnering to update the local Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of the Plan is to analyze where you are now as a community, where you are going, to develop ideas for where you want to be, and create strategies for how to get you there. Planning & Development Administrative Assistant

Morgan County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position with the Planning and Development department. Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Power Point, and website management; and must be organized and detail orientated. Applicants must also be knowledgeable in accounting practices. Ideal applicant should have planning and zoning experience and/or knowledge of construction documents and procedures (preferred). Applicants will be subject to background check and drug screening.

The Morgan County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Building Inspector for the Planning and Development department.

The Building Inspector is responsible for reviewing construction plans and conducting inspections of construction in progress to ensure compliance with State and local building codes. The Building Inspector enforces zoning ordinances and building codes by performing field investigations and responding to complaints.

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including but not limited to: building construction, inspection and ordinance enforcement; plan review and building inspection level designation by the State is required; knowledge of the building and zoning code enforcement principles and practices.

Applicants are subject to a background check, seven-year drivers record review and drug screening.

Applications are available at the Moran County Board of Commissioners office at 150 East Washington Street, Madison, Georgia 30650 or apply online at www.morgancountyga.gov.
