🏫 Madison Metropolitan School District is taking a closer look at the carbon impact of building new schools.

As part of its sustainability efforts, MMSD is working to reduce embodied carbon in new construction by 15% compared with baseline designs. 🌱 This means considering the climate impact of building materials and making lower-carbon choices during the design process.

☀️ Curious about residential solar? Join the MadiSUN Solar Walking Tour and see how solar is helping power homes in one of Madison's newest neighborhoods!

☀️🐾 Another exciting step toward a more sustainable future!

Dane County recently celebrated the opening of a new solar pavilion at Henry Vilas Zoo, marking another milestone in the ongoing effort to create a fossil fuel free zoo.
