Last week, we held our Summer Career Academy for rising 9th and 10th graders in Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan Counties. These students got hands-on experience with many of our programs, including Carpentry, Automotive, and Robotics. 🎉

We love building relationships with future students and are so grateful for our staff and teachers who helped host this amazing event!

What an incredible year in our Graphic Design classroom! Our students were hard at work all year creating incredible designs, from logos to video game covers to animated characters.

Fun fact, one of our students created the Mothman logo that was chosen as the mascot for SkillsUSA 2026!

In our Firefighting classroom, students finished out the school year demonstrating how they can tie secure knots in less-than-ideal situations. Whether vision is obstructed, both hands are unavailable, or any other real-world situation happens during a fire, our students will be prepared to save lives. This is education that trains these special individuals to run into situations where every second counts 💪
