🌳 Volunteers Needed: Downtown Tree Planting! 🌳

Help us plant five new trees downtown on Saturday, April 18, starting at 7:00 AM. We’ll be planting, mulching, staking, and watering—everything is prepped and materials are provided.

If you’re able, bring gloves, water, and basic tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, rakes).

☕ Coffee and muffins provided!

Down at the Summer Street pollinator garden, fragrant sumac (Rhus aromatica) is ablaze with fall color! This drought-tolerant, native shrub is a splendid choice for tough urban environments, including small planting beds and bio-swales. Plus, it spreads rapidly and needs next to no maintenance besides some pruning every few years. Give it a try!
