Homefields Homefields provides jobs, housing, and opportunities to grow for people who have a disability or other barrier to employment.

Our CSA care farm provides organic fresh fruit and vegetables to families and food banks. Homefields is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated to creating new life options for people who have disabilities. A modern ranch and 1800s farmhouse are the homes, and an 18-acre farm is the stage. Hundreds of people who have a disability or other barrier to traditional employment have engaged at

our Farm, growing organically-minded produce for community shareholders. Six adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities call us “Home.”

A Homefields Day Pass gets you 5 pieces of fresh local organic produce, grown and selected by our farmers just for you!

You can purchase a Day Pass through our website (link in bio) by clicking "Join the CSA" on our homepage and selecting "2026 Vegetable Day Pass" on our GrownBy page.

Pickup is the same as our regular CSA distribution hours.

🌱An exciting update at Homefields! We’re currently working on a Land Management Project led by Reagan Lisa. This initiative is designed to optimize farm operations, protect crop yields, and build long-term ecological resilience through advanced geospatial mapping, drone technology, and site analysis.

A big shoutout to Ruby Garner-Valle, a rising senior at McCaskey High School, who served as our Climatic Analysis Intern! Ruby gathered crucial data on weather patterns, rain, soil types, and wind corridors to help us optimize crop health and manage stormwater.

🌻 With purchase of a Day Pass you get access to 5 different types of vegetables for $25.

🛒Day passes are purchased at the farm on Fridays from 11am-6pm or Saturdays from 9am-1pm.

📍We are located on 150 Letort Rd in Millersville, PA.

🍅This is a great way to try our produce before you commit to a full season with us. OR if you are already a member, you can use a Day Pass to round out your share!

📋A Day Pass does not include access to our pick your own field, but if you do become a CSA member, access to the pick your own field is included in your membership!

🚜PA Produce Month celebrates local produce and occurs during the whole month of August!

🥒Our highlight this week is cucumbers. This crunchy vegetable is packed with vitamin K which helps to heal wounds and strengthen bones!

😬TOO MANY TOMATOES? Here’s a simple way to store them! Cut an X into the bottom of each tomato and freeze them whole in a zip lock bag.

🍝You probably wouldn’t want to eat the thawed tomato in a salad or sandwich, BUT they are great for sauces and soups in the winter.
