UMOS came out to celebrate and support our farmworkers on Sunday in Berlin, Wisconsin. It was a wonderful afternoon of food, fun, family and community as we recognized the people whose hard work helps feed our communities every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Nico Riffel turned a lifelong dream into a new career with support from the UMOS National Farmworker Jobs Program in Illinois.

After connecting with UMOS at a farmers market, Nico received training assistance, job coaching and financial support to earn her commercial driver’s license and become a truck driver. Her new career has brought greater financial stability and a stronger future.
