My next Town Hall is tomorrow, and you won't want to miss this one because it's at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista. The flowers are in bloom and the weather has cooled down enough that it should be a lovely time to visit the farm!

Did I mention that Minnetrista Mayor Lisa Whalen will be joining me? She has an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to local governance.

The photos below are from last Thursday when staff visited Gale Woods Farm to prepare for this event. Don't you want to see this for yourself?

DATE: Wednesday, July 22nd
TIME: 6pm - 7pm
LOCATION: Gale Woods Farm, 7210 County Road 110 W, Minnetrista (event will be held in the main building)

Bring your questions and we'll be ready to answer ☺️ And of course, kids are welcome to join!

Instead of commenting too much myself at this point, I’d like to just offer some excerpts from The recent ruling. The federal government is not above the law or the constitution. However, these fishing expeditions cost you, the taxpayer, money. Both in the wasted federal resources, and the local resources to defend against unconstitutional attacks.

…"grand juries are prohibited from engaging in 'arbitrary fishing expeditions' and initiating investigations 'out of malice or an intent to harass"’

“The Court need address only one of those reasons: the moving parties' contention that the subpoenas were issued as part of an unconstitutional effort to coerce Minnesota officials into assisting the federal government with enforcing civil immigration laws and to harass and retaliate against them for failing to do so. The Court agrees with the moving parties.”

“Under the Tenth Amendment's "anti-commandeering" rule, the federal government may not" command the States' officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program."
