MISSION - To provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for Military Veterans, Active-Duty personnel, and all First Responders through the game of hockey. Minnesota Sentinels Hockey is dedicated to serving military veterans, active-duty members, National Guard, Reservists, and all First Responders. Our mission is centered on fostering camaraderie, promoting team building, and cultivating

a sense of belonging to a community greater than oneself. Join us and become a part of a military-based hockey team in the State of Hockey. We extend our invitation to all service members and veterans who have honorably served or are currently serving, including our disabled veterans. There is no requirement for prior hockey experience; all that's needed is a passion for the game and a willingness to join a special group of individuals. Our aim is to provide a safe space for physical activity and to facilitate meaningful connections among peers.

SOMETHING IS HAPPENING.

We can’t say much.
Actually… we probably could, but Sentinel 4 has been specifically instructed to stop talking.
So naturally, here we are.

There have been conversations.
There have been meetings.
There have been people saying things like “potential collaboration,” “partnership,” and the extremely dangerous phrase: “This could be a game changer.”

Details?
CLASSIFIED.
For now. But we can tell you this…
Something is potentially brewing behind the scenes that could RESHAPE THE MINNESOTA SENTINELS LANDSCAPE.

New possibilities.
New opportunities.
New gear?
New content?
New ways to make Sentinel 4’s job even more ridiculous?
Maybe.
Is this just a rumor?
Is Sentinel 4 wildly exaggerating a completely normal conversation?

Is there actually something BIG coming?
YES.
Wait…
NO.

MAYBE.

Look, we’re not saying anything is happening. We’re just saying that if something were happening… you'd probably want to keep an eye on this space.

Honor & Remember 2026

“Some games are played for standings.”
“Some games are played for trophies.”
“And some games are played because two groups of grown men apparently thought ice time was a good idea.”
THIS IS THAT GAME.

Expect:
Questionable line changes
At least one completely unnecessary stretch pass
Someone yelling “SHOOT!” from the bench
A goalie making a save they had absolutely no business making
A defenseman discovering they are apparently a forward now
At least one player claiming they were “wide open” when they absolutely were not
Somebody blaming the ice
Somebody blaming the refs
Somebody blaming the stick
And roughly 47 discussions about whose fault that last goal actually was
LEGACY IS ON THE LINE.

Well…
Not technically.
But WE'RE GOING TO ACT LIKE IT IS.
Because this isn't just hockey.
This is HONOR & REMEMBER.

This is about coming together to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, honor those who served, recognize those who continue to serve, and support the families and communities who carry their memories forward.

So on September 11th, leave the excuses at home.
Bring the family.
Bring your friends.
Bring your loudest voice.
Bring your American flag.
And bring whatever completely unrealistic expectations you have for the Minnesota Sentinels.

Because at 7:35 PM, the puck drops.
History will be made.
Legends will be born.
Beer-league scouting reports will be wildly inaccurate.
And one team will probably claim they were robbed.

Well folks… WE GOT A STAY OF EX*****ON!

The Sentinel Team Store has officially been granted a temporary pardon and will remain OPEN until SUNDAY, AUGUST 16TH!

So if you saw something you liked…If you saw something you wanted… Or if you looked at something and thought to yourself:

“Damn… I’d look pretty good in that.” THIS IS YOUR MOMENT.

Jump on the bandwagon and grab yourself some Sentinel gear before the doors slam shut!

Today, we’re setting aside our usual rivalry long enough to wish Matt “The Pesky Warrior” Caple a very Happy Birthday!

That's right… a Lake Superior Warrior. We know. Nobody's perfect.

But despite his questionable choice in hockey organizations, Matt has become a great friend of the Sentinels and someone we're always happy to have around—especially when we're not busy reminding him which team has the better jerseys.

So, from your friends down here in Sentinels territory, we hope you have an awesome birthday filled with good friends, good times, and absolutely zero evidence that can be used against you in the next Battle of the Warriors.

Today we celebrate the one and only Ray “Ray Ray” Laudenbach!

Another year older, another year wiser… allegedly.
Ray has been a great part of the Sentinels family, bringing his unique brand of hockey, questionable decision-making, and the occasional reminder that apparently “I got it!” does not always mean he actually has it.

But all jokes aside, we're damn glad to have you on this team, Ray Ray. Here's to another trip around the sun, more time on the ice, fewer penalties (we can dream), and hopefully a birthday celebration that doesn't require the rest of us to run a bag skate afterward.

HONOR & REMEMBER 2026 — SAVE THE DATE!

The Minnesota Sentinels are proud to announce our annual Honor & Remember Hockey Game on September 11, 2026, at Centennial Sports Arena in Circle Pines.

Friday, September 11, 2026
Centennial Sports Arena — Circle Pines, MN
Game Time: 7:35 PM
100% FREE — Come join us!

Our opponent is currently being finalized because apparently we enjoy making things unnecessarily complicated. But we're working on it and will have that locked in soon.

We're also THRILLED to welcome Roger Up! as our special guests for the evening. We're looking forward to having them with us as we come together to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember the events and lives forever changed on September 11th.

And yes... there will be a National Anthem, because we're pretty sure that's an important detail.
As for everything else?
Still being hashed out.

Because who actually likes having everything planned, locked in, organized, and free of unanswered questions months ahead of time?
We'll get there. Probably.

What matters is that we'll be on the ice, together, doing what we do best—honoring, remembering, and keeping the watch.

This is a limited-time store designed to get orders delivered before our Honor & Remember game on September 11th.
