THE WAIT IS OVER.

The Minnesota Sentinels 2026/27 TCR schedule is officially HERE.

17 games.
Monday nights.
Rinks across the Twin Cities.
One mission: show up, compete, and KEEP THE WATCH.

Year 5 is about to get rolling, and the boys are headed back into the TCR lower division ready for another season of late nights, bad decisions, questionable line changes, and hockey that is probably way more competitive than any of us planned on.

From Phalen to Aldrich. Tartan to Polar. Augsburg to TCO Sports Arena HAUS Rink.

The schedule is set.

Now we just need to play the games.

Lunch Bucket Hockey was proud to partner with the Minnesota Sentinels for their Remember and Honor Game held on 9/11.

More than just a game, it was an opportunity to come together as a hockey community to honor the lives lost, remember the heroes of September 11th, and show our gratitude to the veterans and first responders who continue to serve and protect.

Some moments are bigger than hockey. ❤️🤍💙🏒

Although we’d much rather see our fans making the trip to Wisconsin for Battle for the AXE V, if Wisconsin isn’t in the cards and you don’t have plans November 13th and 14th, head out to Blaine and show some support for Hockey Heroes, hosted by the Front Line Foundation!

It’s another great opportunity to support first responder hockey, a great organization, and the community.

And if you’re free on the 14th… Wisconsin is only a short road trip away. Just saying.

Come kick off an incredible weekend celebrating Minnesota’s police officers, firefighters and first responders at a one-of-a-kind hockey event! The Front Line Foundations Rescue Me Hockey Draft Party - This exciting event will feature:

- NHL players announcing their Police and Fire team picks for the two-day Rescue Me Hockey Tournament
- Food
- Rescue Me Cream Ale, brewed specially for us by River Center Brewing Co. out of Stillwater
- Music
- Raffles
- Silent Auction

And here's where it gets really interesting... During the Draft Party, you will have the opportunity to bid on ownership of one of the four (4) tournament teams. If your team goes on to win the 1st Place Trophy, the team owner will receive half of the Team Owner Auction sales pot!

That's right - come for the hockey, food, music and excitement, and you could leave as a Rescue Me Hockey Team Owner with a chance to win a significant cash payout. The Draft Party kicks off the two-day Rescue Me Hockey Tournament, featuring Police and Fire players competing on the ice while raising money to support Minnesota first responders and their families through The Front Line Foundation.

Here at Sentinels HQ, we’re always looking for opportunities to support and team up with other nonprofit organizations we’ve met along this crazy hockey journey—especially those doing great things for the veteran community.

Well, we just discovered that one of our newest Sentinels is involved with Dink Tournament Fishing (DTF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to military veteran outreach through the sport of fishing.

Hockey, fishing, veterans helping veterans… yeah, that’s pretty much right in our wheelhouse.

So do us a favor and go show DTF some love. Give them a like, follow, share, comment, subscribe, smash whatever button the algorithm overlords are demanding this week, and help spread the word about another organization doing good work for our veteran community.

We’re proud to support organizations that share the same belief we do: sometimes the activity is just the excuse to get people together. The real mission is the camaraderie, connection, and community that comes with it.

Year 5 is here, and the 2026–2027 Minnesota Sentinels TCR roster is starting to take shape.

Some familiar Beauts are coming back for another run. Some new faces are getting ready to throw on the green and join the watch. Either way, the contracts are on the table, the pen is ready, and the roster announcements are coming.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE HALF OF SHAKE & BAKE — MR. PAUL “BAKE” ENGEBRETSON!

Today we celebrate Mr. Bake himself, Paul Engebretson — one half of the legendary, occasionally functional, and absolutely never OSHA-approved Shake & Bake Combo.

Every Shake needs a Bake. Every questionable hockey organization needs a guy willing to look at whatever terrible idea is being proposed and say, “Yeah, I’m in.”

And Paul fits that role beautifully.

A longtime Sentinel, locker-room beaut, and one of those guys who embodies exactly what this organization is about: hockey, brotherhood, friendship, and making decisions that sound considerably better before the skates go on.

Happy Birthday, Bake!

May the b**r be cold, the knees cooperate, and may Shake refrain from getting the two of you involved in anything requiring an explanation to responsible adults.

ATTENTION CCM AND BARBIE: We need to talk.

The Minnesota Sentinels would like to formally submit our very own Mr. Barbie for consideration as the official spokesperson for the CCM x Barbie stick collaboration.

Is he your traditional influencer? Absolutely not.

Does he have millions of followers? Also no.

Does he possess the raw confidence necessary to walk into a locker room full of grown men carrying a bright pink Barbie hockey stick and dare a single one of them to say something about it?

Absolutely.

This is not about market research. This is not about demographics. This is about recognizing greatness when it is standing directly in front of you wearing a hockey helmet, an impressive beard, and enough pink to make everyone else question whether they’ve been taking b**r-league hockey entirely too seriously.

CCM, the ball is in your court.

Give Mr. Barbie the stick.

Give him the photoshoot.

Give him the completely unnecessary multi-year endorsement contract.

We’re not saying this partnership would revolutionize hockey marketing.

We’re just saying you’d be foolish not to find out.

THE BORDER DOESN’T MEAN MUCH… UNTIL THE AXE IS ON THE LINE.

Saturday, November 14th, the Minnesota Sentinels are crossing into Wisconsin with one thing on the agenda:

BRING. THE. AXE. HOME.

The Veterans Border Battle — Battle for the AXE V is back.

Minnesota Sentinels vs. Wisconsin Warriors.

Two veteran hockey organizations.
Two states.
One piece of hardware.
And absolutely zero interest in playing nice once the puck drops.

This is our biggest event of the year, and it means a hell of a lot more than hockey.

Every hit, every save, every questionable decision and every battle along the boards helps support the programs that keep veterans connected, active and surrounded by the kind of camaraderie that doesn’t disappear when the uniform comes off.

And this year?

We’re heading into Onalaska looking to reclaim some property.
