In Montana, where opportunities to socialize with other LGBT people are few and far between, a Community Center is a valuable resource. That's why the Western Montana Community Center opened in Missoula, MT on October 11, 1999. The Center provides a safe and welcoming environment for LGBT identified community members and their allies to socialize, build relationships, explore our multitude of prog

rams and social gatherings, and engage in critical advocacy work to protect and advance LGBTQ rights at the local and state level.

🏃‍♀️🌈 Help The Center Cheer on Missoula Marathon Runners! 🌈🏃‍♂️

Run Wild Missoula is an incredible partner of The Center, and we're excited to support the Missoula Marathon on June 28!

We're looking for volunteers to help staff The Center's aid station at Rose Park (Franklin & Blaine) at Mile 23—just over 3 miles from the finish line. We'll be handing out water, cheering runners on, and bringing lots of positive energy to the course! Let's show runners the power of q***r community and support! 💖🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏳️‍🌈

✨ All volunteers receive a complimentary Run Wild Missoula t-shirt.

Whether you're a runner, a supporter, or just love cheering people on, we'd love to have you join us!

Our first lunch break was everything we hoped it would be... a collective sigh of relief, good conversation, and the simple joy of just being together in community. 💗
