πŸ’›πŸ Celebrating the Ones Who Make a Difference πŸπŸ’›

Yesterday, we had the honor of recognizing three very special members of our Stringfellow family for being β€œThe ONE for Everyone” during the month of August.

🌟 Ossie Williams β€” Special Education Paraprofessional
🌟 Nykeria Walker β€” 3rd Grade Teacher
🌟 Zach Cason β€” 2nd Grade Teacher

Each of these incredible educators brings something special to our school every single day. They show up for students, support their coworkers, lend a helping hand, and lead with kindness, patience, and heart.

The work they do may not always come with applause, but the impact they make is felt throughout our school. Their dedication helps create the caring, supportive environment that makes Stringfellow such a special place.

We are incredibly grateful for the way Ossie, Nykeria, and Zach continue to pour into our students and our school community. Congratulations on receiving the ONE Certificate from Mr. Chappius and thank you for truly being THE ONE for everyone. πŸ’›

We are proud to have you as part of our Stringfellow family! 🐝✨

At Stringfellow Elementary, we believe literacy is one of the many ways champions begin. Today, we are proud to celebrate two of our 5th grade reading champions! πŸπŸ“šπŸˆ

Congratulations to La’Jayla Rogers and Billy Tate, our 5th grade Read Like a Packer recipients! These students were selected for maintaining the highest Lexile levels in their grade level, showing strong dedication to reading, growth, and academic excellence.

As Read Like a Packer nominees, La’Jayla and Billy will be recognized by the Colquitt County School District, and their names and pictures will be displayed on the jumbotron at tonight’s football game!

We are so proud of their hard work and commitment to literacy. Keep reading, keep growing, and keep leading the way! πŸ’›πŸ’š

πŸπŸ–€πŸ’› WHERE CHAMPIONS BEGIN β€” OUR FIRST STUDENT ASSEMBLY! πŸ’›πŸ–€πŸ

Last Friday, our Stringfellow Stingerbees came together for our first student assembly of the 2026–2027 school year, and what an incredible way it was to celebrate the beginning of another year at Stringfellow!

From the moment our students entered the gym through a high-energy cheer tunnel, they were reminded that they are part of something special. The room was filled with excitement, smiles, school spirit, and the kind of energy that reminds us exactly why Stringfellow is where champions begin.

But this assembly was about so much more than having fun.

It was about belonging.

It was about reminding every child that they are an important part of our Stringfellow family.

It was about teaching our traditions, celebrating our school song, introducing opportunities for students to get involved through clubs, sharing exciting reading incentives, reviewing our PBIS expectations and Bee Bucks, and reinforcing the relationships and connections that are at the heart of Capturing Kids’ Hearts.

And, of course, we made plenty of time to have FUN! πŸ₯³ From Minute to Win It challenges and cup stacking to dancing, cheering, special guests, and a schoolwide dance-off, our Stingerbees brought the energy!

There is something powerful about seeing an entire school come togetherβ€”our youngest learners alongside our oldest students, teachers cheering beside students, staff encouraging children, and everyone celebrating what it means to belong to Stringfellow.

These are the moments when school becomes more than classrooms and hallways.

These are the moments when students begin to understand that they are surrounded by people who believe in them.

These are the moments when confidence grows, relationships are strengthened, memories are made, and champions begin to take shape. πŸ†

As we continue this school year, we want every Stingerbee to know that there is a place for them here. There are opportunities waiting for them. There are adults cheering them on. There are goals worth working toward. And there is an entire school community ready to celebrate their growth along the way.

What a way to begin the year, Stingerbees! 🐝

The energy is here.
The excitement is here.
The possibilities are endless.

This is Stringfellow. This is our family. And this is . πŸ–€πŸ’›πŸ†
