The 2026 WTCA Global Business Forum may have wrapped up, but the conversations are just getting started!

We were honored to be part of the Women@WTCA Breakfast at this year's Forum, hosted by WTC Greater Philadelphia, a powerful gathering focused on connection, unity, and building a stronger global network for women across the WTCA community.

Our very own Dr. Mary Swenson, President of World Trade Center Delaware took the stage to remind us all: women are the silent giants of the global economy and it's time to rise together. 🌍

The energy in that room was something special. Conversations sparked. Relationships deepened. Community took shape.

And this is just the beginning. Join us for our next Women@WTCA virtual meeting on Wednesday, June 24, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. EDT. It is held in recognition of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.

Because when women come together, not just to connect, but to support and empower one another and they become each other's strength. 💙

Interested in shaping what comes next? We welcome your ideas and collaboration! Email [email protected] to get involved.

What a beautiful night of celebration, reflection, unity, and history at the AAPI Heritage Month Gala 2026.

It was an honor to join the Asian American Business Alliance and guests as David Oh, Board Chair, welcomed the community for an inspiring evening recognizing the extraordinary contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islanders in America.

Congratulations to the deserving nonprofit award winners, Penn Asian Senior Services and Discovery Pathway, for the meaningful work you are doing in our communities.

A special thank you to Kenneth Wong, President of the Asian American Business Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, for including Delaware in this important celebration and for reminding us of the deep historical ties between America and Asia through international trade.

That history reaches back to our newly formed independent nation, when the merchant trading ship Empress of China sailed from New York Harbor to Canton, China, in 1784, returning in 1785. This pioneering voyage marked one of our young nation’s first major international trade missions and helped establish the United States as a trade partner with Asia.

A powerful evening honoring heritage, leadership, service, and the enduring importance of building bridges across cultures, communities, and economies.

Part 2: What a great day celebrating 39 years of World Trade Center Delaware, co-presented with Export Delaware! 🌍

We started the day by hosting the Irish Trade Delegation for a luncheon and executive briefing featuring remarks from Dr. Mary Swenson, David Måthé, Brian McGlinchey, and Maureen Pace.

The program also included executive perspectives from Albert Shields, Noah Olson, and Michael Fleming, along with global trade insights from Trent Bavaro, Leah E. Burcat, and Ronan Quinlan. It was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen Ireland-U.S. connections and build global relationships right here in Delaware.

That energy carried into the evening at the University and Whist Club in Wilmington, where we brought together Delaware’s business community for a night of connection and celebration.

The reception featured remarks from Dr. Mary Swenson and David Måthé and welcomed professionals across industries including manufacturing, logistics, life sciences, and professional services.

Finally, a sincere thank you to the Port of Wilmington and Matt Meyer’s office for their support and partnership in making this possible and Kevin Francis at Local De Boy for taking incredible images of the day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Take a look through some of our favorite moments from the day!

What does it truly mean to live a life that leaves an indelible mark of vision, service, and lasting impact?

It signifies constructing bridges where none existed, unlocking doors for others, and illuminating the path for generations to follow. It denotes forging a legacy so resilient that future generations can stand on the shoulders of pioneers like Edie Fraser, reach greater heights, lead further, and perpetuate the cycle of greatness.

That is the enduring legacy of Edie Fraser. Being part of the 2026 Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington Gala, where Edie was honored alongside visionary leaders, was an immense privilege and joy.

The evening splendidly embodied the spirit of faith, service, unity, leadership, and the transformative power of lives devoted to uplifting others.

Edie has trailblazed for countless women and leaders through her remarkable achievements, generosity, courageous spirit, mentorship, and unshakeable conviction in the boundless potential of others.

Her impact does not wane with time; instead, it proliferates through every life she has touched, every door she has swung open, and every future leader she has inspired.

Congratulations to Edie and the distinguished honorees; your leadership reminds us that true legacy is not measured by individual accomplishments but by the extraordinary heights others reach because of the path you have so selflessly created.
