Each month, we recognize staff members who exemplify exceptional dedication to our students, demonstrate outstanding teamwork, and go above and beyond to support our school community.

We are proud to recognize this month’s Heart of River Ridge recipients:

Non-Instructional: James Caulkett

James consistently goes above and beyond to support our teachers, staff, and students. From helping teachers prepare their classrooms during planning week to stepping in to troubleshoot technology, repair equipment, and solve whatever unexpected problem comes his way, James is always willing to help.

His friendly, approachable nature and willingness to do whatever is needed make him an invaluable part of the River Ridge community. James embodies the spirit of River Ridge through his hard work, generosity, and genuine care for others.

Instructional: Julianna Diesel

Julianna brings creativity, passion, and genuine care to her classroom. She creates engaging learning experiences that encourage her students to explore their talents, take risks, and elevate their work to the next level.

She is welcoming, accepting, and encouraging, creating an environment where students feel supported and inspired. Julianna truly has a heart for River Ridge, and we are proud to recognize her dedication to her students and our school community.

Congratulations to Mr. Caulkett and Ms. Diesel on this well-deserved recognition. We are grateful for the heart, dedication, and service they bring to River Ridge every day.

A special thank-you to Johnny Brusco for sponsoring this month’s Heart of River Ridge Awards and helping us celebrate these outstanding members of our staff.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Emma Hedges, whose photography was recently published by the Orlando Magic and NBA!

Emma’s photograph was featured in an Orlando Magic article highlighting team reporter Kendra Douglas and her work supporting and uplifting other women in sports. Seeing the work of one of our students published by an NBA organization is an incredible accomplishment and a fantastic example of where student journalism and photography can take you.

Congratulations, Emma! We can’t wait to see where your camera takes you next!
