Every day, Russia targets civilians and civilian infrastructure. This morning, a Russian FPV drone hit a passenger minibus in Nikopol district, Dnipro region, killing at least five people and injuring seven.

Russia also attacked the Kyiv–Mykolaiv passenger train today. Passengers and crew were evacuated in time.

Moscow continues to deliberately strikes buses, trains, locomotives, stations and railway infrastructure – disrupting evacuation routes, civilian movement and the economy.

Every Russian escalation must be met with increased pressure on Moscow. Ukraine needs more air defence and interceptors to protect lives. Russia’s revenues, military production, technology and supply chains must be systematically restricted.

🚨 UP TO 2,000 CIVILIANS ARE TRAPPED IN OCCUPIED OLESHKY. THEY NEED HELP NOW.

In Oleshky and neighbouring communities in Ukraine’s Kherson region, people are facing a critical humanitarian crisis under Russian occupation. Critical infrastructure has been destroyed, there is no electricity or gas supply, and residents face severe shortages of food and medical care. Civilians attempting to obtain food or leave the town are reportedly targeted by Russian drones.

Ukraine is ready to evacuate civilians. Russia is obstructing their safe evacuation.

The international community must not look away.

🔴 We call on the International Committee of the Red Cross to urgently seek humanitarian access to Oleshky and facilitate the safe evacuation of civilians.

🔴 We call on international humanitarian organizations to raise this crisis with the highest urgency and press for access to people in need.

🔴 We call on governments, journalists, cultural institutions and civil society to amplify this appeal and keep international attention focused on civilians trapped under Russian occupation.

The people of Oleshky cannot be left without food, medical assistance or a safe way out. Their lives are at stake.

🇺🇦 Oleshky, in Ukraine’s Kherson region, has been under Russian occupation since 2022. Thousands of civilians remain trapped in horrific humanitarian conditions, with limited access to food, water, medicine, and the outside world.

Following the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam in 2023, the city was flooded and subsequently devastated by Russian attacks. Today, up to 2,000 people may still remain in Oleshky, including elderly people, persons with limited mobility, and children.

The international community must act: urge Russia to allow and facilitate the safe evacuation of civilians from occupied Oleshky and other affected areas; support humanitarian organizations working to reach those trapped under occupation; and keep the humanitarian crisis in the occupied territories of Kherson region high on the international agenda.

🇺🇦 Ukraine’s cultural heritage is not a footnote to history. It is a fundamental part of Ukraine’s national identity - and it must be protected.

These rare silver-gilt Holy Gates from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra were removed during the Soviet period and later circulated through private collections abroad, where their history was for decades interpreted through a Russian imperial lens.

The work of the V&A and the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” is helping restore their rightful Ukrainian historical and artistic context.

Now, the international community must act. Governments, museums, collectors, cultural institutions, and international organizations must strengthen provenance research, prevent the illicit trade of Ukrainian cultural property, identify and document displaced heritage, and actively support its restitution to Ukraine.

Do not allow Russian imperial narratives to erase, appropriate, or rewrite Ukrainian history. Protect Ukraine’s cultural heritage. Support its return. Hold those responsible for its destruction and appropriation accountable.

Ukraine’s heritage is Ukrainian. Its history belongs to Ukraine. 🇺🇦

📚 Around 10 million books destroyed in just one month.

Russia attacked Ukrainian publishers and book warehouses 21 times this summer - deliberately targeting not only businesses, but Ukraine’s culture, memory, and national identity.

This must not be ignored.

We call on governments, international organizations, cultural institutions, and the global community to stand with Ukraine, strengthen pressure on Russia, hold those responsible accountable, and support the protection and restoration of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

Ukraine’s culture must survive. Russia must be held accountable.

Today is Ukrainian Tank Troops Day!

As new technologies and ways of conducting warfare continue to reshape the battlefield, tank troops remain a vital part of Ukraine’s defence. They destroy enemy fortifications and equipment, support Ukrainian units, and defend our positions.

The strength of our tank troops lies in the professionalism, courage, dedication and unique experience of Ukrainian servicemen and servicewomen.

We thank everyone who defends Ukraine in the ranks of the tank troops. Eternal memory to those who gave their lives for Ukraine.

Russia is testing Europe’s doorstep. Strikes near the Ukraine - Poland border are a direct threat to EU and NATO security.

No more half-measures. Putin must face overwhelming consequences: crippling sanctions, a full trade embargo, entry bans, and maximum pressure on Russia’s war machine.

Act now. Make the cost of aggression unbearable.

Russia’s barbaric strikes at the Ukraine-Poland border in Yahodyn are not just a continuation of its attacks on Ukraine’s state borders, but also Putin’s terror “knocking” directly on the doors of the EU and NATO, stressed Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, commenting on the attack.

💬 “Russian barbarians are at your gate, dear partners.

Act now: throw the full weight of your sanctions at Putin’s aggressive regime.

Make Moscow feel the consequences of its terror. Not just half-decisions, but uncompromising, powerful steps. Full trade embargo. Full entry bans. Full sanctions on the military-industrial complex.

Putin needs to understand that his barbarism will be met with decisive action that increases the cost of war for him to an unacceptable level. This is the only way to stop him,” Andrii Sybiha noted.

Russia is intensifying its attacks on Ukrainian ports and civilian vessels in the Black Sea, putting international commercial shipping and global food supplies at risk.

Ukraine's maritime corridor connects Ukrainian farmers and food producers with markets around the world. By attacking the infrastructure and vessels that keep these exports moving, Russia is deliberately threatening a vital food supply route.

The consequences reach far beyond Ukraine and the Black Sea region. Disrupting Ukrainian food exports puts global food security at risk and threatens access to food for millions of families worldwide.

Civilian shipping and freedom of navigation in the Black Sea must be protected. Russia must not be allowed to attack and block crucial maritime routes.

25 years ago, the world was shaken by the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, which claimed the lives of more than 2,900 people.

Today, we remember all those who were killed and stand with the families, loved ones, and communities affected by that tragic day.

Their memory lives on. We stand united against terrorism and hatred.
