We are so proud to announce that HLA is once again an A school. Healthy Learning Academy is now the #2 highest-performing charter school in the district! Even more exciting, we outperformed every public elementary school in Alachua County, with only one school earning a score just one point higher than ours. Even more impressively, HLA ranked among the Top 5 highest-performing schools in all of Alachua County!

This achievement reflects the dedication of our amazing students, the commitment and passion of our outstanding teachers and staff, and the unwavering support of our families.

Our Safety Patrols are in Washington DC! They had an eventful first day visiting Arlington National Cemetery, several monument and memorials, as well as the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Smithsonian Museum of American History.

A few special events this week!
*Our school wide spelling bee is Thursday 5/21 beginning at 12:45pm.
*Kindergarten-Second Grade Creative Showcase Night is 5/21 from 6:00-7:00pm. There will be art work displayed, short Reader's Theater and musical performances.
*The Talent Show is Friday morning starting at 8:30am.

No School Monday 5/25 for Memorial Day.

Scholastic Book Fair is here! Come visit before or after school with your kiddos or add funds to their e-wallet and they can shop during the school day. The fair is open 7-7:40 am and 2-3:00pm.
