Today is the last day to pick up your students medications. Our nurse is in the health room until 12:00 PM. All medications left after 12:00 PM on the 18 will be destroyed.

END OF SCHOOL YEAR AND MEDICATIONS:
Please remember to pick up all medications your student had at school by 12:00 PM on June 18, 2026. We are not able to send medications home with your student or store medications over the summer. All medications left after 12:00 PM on the 18 will be destroyed. If your student has a life-threatening condition, medications must remain at school until the end of the school day on Wednesday, June 17.

SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27:
ALL medication administration authorizations and health plans are good for one school year only and must be renewed annually. If your child requires a health plan or needs to take medication during the school day for the school year 2026-2027 (this includes any prescription, over-the-counter medications, or inhalers used at school, during team sports practices, or after school activities), please download the appropriate form from the district website https://www.ohsd.net/5568_3. Forms may also be picked up in your school’s office. Have your healthcare provider complete the form before school starts in the fall. Parents/Guardians must sign all forms. Please bring the completed medication authorization, health plan, and the medication in the original over-the-counter or labeled prescription container when school begins in the fall. Medications cannot be accepted from students.

DIABETES, LIFE-THREATENING ALLERGIES, SEVERE ASTHMA, AND SEIZURES: Health plans and emergency medication for Diabetes, Life-Threatening Allergies, Severe Asthma & Seizures must be at school before the first day of the new school year, September 1, 2026. School office staff can begin accepting these items in August. School nursing staff will be available starting August 17, 2026. Students with life-threatening conditions will be excluded from school until the signed health plan and medication are at school. If your student has diabetes, your school nurse will contact you to set up a meeting prior to the first day of school to establish the required diabetes health plan. Current healthcare providers’ orders from the most recent diabetes checkup will be required.

🕵️‍♀️🎉 Staff Mystery Spirit Week was a blast! 🎉🕵️‍♂️

Last week, our staff brought the fun with creative outfits, daily surprises, and lots of laughter as we tried to guess each day’s mystery theme! From clever clues to great teamwork, it was a week full of smiles and school spirit.

Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make it such a memorable week! 💙👏

Lost & Found
Our Lost & Found is currently overflowing with jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and more! We encourage you to please have your student stop by and look for any missing belongings as soon as possible. Families are also welcome to come in and check for lost items (please birng valid WA ID during school hours). All unclaimed items will be donated to a local thrift store on the last day of school, June 17. Thank you for helping us clear out the Lost & Found and reunite items with their owners!

🌊🚌 4th Grade Field Trip Fun! 🚌🌊

Ms. Hyneck and Ms. Ludwig’s 4th graders had an amazing time exploring Padilla Bay! Students learned about local ecosystems, marine life, and the importance of protecting our natural environment. 🐚🦀🌿

Hands-on learning + beautiful scenery = a fantastic day! Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. 💙👏
