Garrett County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Part-Time Home Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Habitat Home Store in Oakland, MD. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys retail, working with volunteers, engaging with the public, and helping support affordable housing in Garrett County.
📍 Location: 5411 Hutton Road, Oakland, MD
🕒 Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Responsibilities include:
✅ Managing daily store operations
✅ Supervising staff and volunteers
✅ Promoting the store and merchandise on Facebook
✅ Scheduling donation pickups
✅ Providing excellent customer service
✅ Maintaining an organized, safe & welcoming shopping environment
✅ Assisting with marketing and community outreach
Qualifications:
✔ Retail management or supervisory experience preferred
✔ Strong organizational and communication skills
✔ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Facebook
✔ Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for extended periods
✔ Clean driving record and willingness to learn to drive a 16-foot box truck
