"Looking to save time cooking? Cook once, eat twice!”

Looking to save time cooking? Cook once, eat twice!

Maybe this means you double the recipe and save as leftovers.

Or... you can also cook the meal in components, like roasting a while chicken, and reinvent the leftovers in a the second meal by shredding the meat for tacos.

What's your favorite way to cook once, eat twice?

Hello, I have a couch that I want to get rid of asap, friends have a truck, can you message me where we can bring it, and how much the fee is? Thank you!
Join us Nov 2 or Nov 13 at a Town Hall to update the City's (Equitable) Climate Action Plan for 2030! The City needs to hear your voice on a range of material reuse and recycling, urban greening, transit, building energy and other fronts, helping target resources to where they are most needed. Details and registration here (scroll down to Town Halls):
Offer more bulk pickups per household each year. Once per year is below industry standard.
when is your next bulky pickup? there's not one for april.
What about those "Compostable" utensils? They are everywhere, can they go in the green bin?
Help keep your Oakland neighborhood clean. Get your free bulky pickup each year to remove extra trash and bulky items. Call Waste Management at 510-613-8710.

Can I put "used" compressed wood pellet kitty litter (Feline Pine) in the compost bin?
Good afternoon I am looking for someplace to donate a large amount of yard debris. My son cut our elderly neighbors back yard down that hasn't been cut in around 20 or more years so there is approximately 2-3 tons of cut up trees and bushes. Do you guys accept things like this or know anyone who does ? Thank you.
A couple of questions: (1) Is it OK to put bottles in a cardboard box in the recycling? (2) Is it OK to put paper in a cardboard box in the recycling? The website seems to imply that the answer to both would be no -- is that the case?
Why has the free Bulk Drop off days been discontinued? It was great for people who have no curb space for a pickup. I also help cut down on illegal dumping !!
