We're hiring! The Community Development division of Commerce is looking for an Energy Program Planner. Commerce receives annual funding allocations from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to support residential weatherization, commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. In addition, we manage an energy-revolving loan fund that supports energy-related projects. This position would be primarily assigned to the Energy Programs, but may support other Community Development programs.

The Oklahoma Main Street Center makes an impact all across our state. Learn more about how Main Street of Perry utilized the Oklahoma Main Street Incentive Program to enhance their district.

**Oklahoma Certified Main Street Incentive Spotlight**

Recipient: Main Street of Perry, a fully-designated Main Street program since 1995.

Perry took the opportunity to add a 40-speaker sound system to their downtown! Not only can you hear the music in the air as you stroll on the square, a public address system also helps manage events and other announcements as needed throughout the year.

Projects like these show how improvements, big and small, can make a big difference to how a district feels and functions.
