Each year the Oklahoma Tax Commission collects and distributes over $11 billion to over 200 state agencies, funds and programs. y, the Commission is comprised of Chairman Clark Jolley, Vice-Chairman Shelly Paulk and Secretary-Member Charles Prater. Under the direction of the state legislature, the OTC manages not only the collection of taxes and fees, but also the distribution and apportionment of the collected revenue to state departments and projects to maintain and improve education, transportation, healthcare, agriculture and much more. Additionally, the OTC distributes certain ear-marked funds to counties, school districts and municipalities throughout the state. The OTC is comprised of over 600 communicators, educators, administrators, accountants, IT professionals, researchers and customer service professionals committed to meeting the needs of Oklahoma taxpayers.
