Two shiny bikes rolled out of the shop today, off to brand‑new adventures! 🚲✨
Donated by our wonderful community and lovingly refurbished by our incredible volunteers, these bikes are ready for their next chapter. Watching them roll out to their new homes always brings big smiles. 💛
Through our Full Cycle program, we provide refurbished bikes to people facing transportation barriers and every bike comes with a helmet, lock, and a set of lights to help keep riders safe on the road.
These two bikes will help their new riders get to the places that matter most and have plenty of fun along the way!

Last Wednesday, Walk N Roll teamed up with Thurston County Public Works for another popular Fix-it-Fair!
These events give folks the chance to repair items from home for free instead of replacing them. With an impressive 83%+ repair rate, Fix-it-Fairs help keep useful items in circulation and out of the landfill while sharing valuable repair and maintenance know-how. 🌎💚
And bikes? 🚲 They can definitely feel intimidating when it comes to adjustments and maintenance but you don’t have to figure it out alone! With help from our knowledgeable volunteers, you can keep your bike rolling and ready for your next adventure. 🔧
Big thanks to everyone who stopped by, rolled in with a repair, or shared their skills! Got something that needs fixing? Check out Thurston County Public Works for up coming events.

One mile, four heats, and hundreds of smiling faces! Thank you to Club Oly Road Runners for organizing the fun and free Olympia Mile and Festival this past weekend! Throughout Saturday morning, participants biked, walked, ran, or rolled down a closed section of Capitol Way and then took part in a community festival at Sylvester Park. The Walk N Roll team enjoyed supporting the bike mile and valued speaking with so many attendees at our bike valet and outreach booth.

Our next bike valet event will be at Roosevelt Elementary from 12-7 pm on Labor Day for Olympia Porch Fest. Arrive by bike and listen to free tunes!

Week 4 of Thurston County Inclusion’s Stationary Summer Camp was full of FUN thanks to amazing community partners Walk N Roll Child Care Action Council Safe Kids Thurston County

Participants got to experience an indoor traffic garden right in our gym, where they rode scooters, practiced road safety, and navigated the course while learning important skills along the way. With scooters available for all sizes, everyone had the opportunity to get rolling!

From setup and participant and volunteer interaction to cleanup, the team was incredible to work with from start to finish. We are so grateful for their enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment to creating experiences for our camp! 💙

This collaboration is extra special because this is our third year bringing Child Care Action Council and Walk N Roll’s garden to TCI Summer Camp!

A huge thank you to Intercity Transit’s Walk N Roll and Child Care Action Council for helping make Week 4 so much fun! 🎉
