On the anniversary of D-Day, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Their determination and heroism marked a turning point in World War II and ultimately led to the liberation of Europe. We remember and express our gratitude to the brave soldiers who fought (including my great uncle, who lived to be 96!) and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

โœจ Hard to believe Dancing with the Ellsworth Stars is over! After months of prep, six teams faced off on stage to raise money for The Grand with the help of our community, both near and far. Thank you to everyone who watched, donated, and cheered us on... and to The Grand's capable crew!

In addition to learning some new skills ๐Ÿ’ƒ, I really enjoyed the camaraderie of the competitors, helping each other out backstage to ensure we all felt our best on the big night. Shout-outs to: Momo, Jim, David, Ben, Vanessa, Matt, Elizabeth, Katina, Terence, Kenny, and Aziza for the crazy adventure ๐Ÿคฉ

One of the most fiscally significant laws I authored this session prevents data centers from taking advantage of Maine's existing broad-based business incentive programs that were designed with long-term, good-paying jobs in mind. If these multibillion-dollar corporations come to Maine, they should pay their own way.
