📢 Middletown Township Board of Supervisors Meeting – August 10

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors will hold its next public meeting on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Middletown Township Municipal Center, 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne.

A special item on the agenda will be the swearing-in of Christopher Hoffman as Middletown Township Manager. Hoffman brings more than 15 years of municipal government experience and will officially begin serving the Township on August 17.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide public comment. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Township’s YouTube channel.

Update: PECO is on location. Woodbourne Road should reopen before morning rush hour.

Due to a downed tree and wires, Woodbourne Road is closed between Langhorne Yardley Road and Ellis Road until further notice. PECO is enroute and we will update once Woodbourne reopens.

🏓☀️ Saturday was a perfect day for the Summer Smash Pickleball Tournament!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s event such a success. A special thank you to Pennsbury Racquet & Athletic Club for generously donating a free hour of court time and pickleball overgrips for our raffle basket, and to Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse for donating a $100 gift card.

The Middletown Township Pickleball Club continues to bring players of all skill levels together for fun, fitness, and friendly competition and Saturday’s tournament was no exception!

💧 Stormwater Advisory Committee Meeting Tonight

Join us for the Stormwater Advisory Committee meeting this evening at the Middletown Municipal Center.

🚧 Traffic Advisory – Adams Avenue 🚧

Please be advised that Adams Avenue will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, July 23, between Longview Avenue and Trenton Road, as part of the Langhorne Gables Drainage Project.

The closure is necessary to complete a concrete pour at the cross-pipe.

What to expect:
• No through traffic will be permitted between Longview Avenue and Trenton Road.
• Local access will be maintained from both ends of Adams Avenue, but drivers will not be able to travel through the work zone.
• The roadway is expected to fully reopen by the end of the morning on Friday, July 24, weather permitting.

Please plan ahead, use alternate routes if traveling through the area, and use caution around the work zone. Thank you for your patience.
