🌱📸 Spring is showing up all across Baldwin, and we’d love to see it from your point of view.

What does Spring look like where you are in the Borough?

Maybe it’s:
🌳 your favorite tree starting to bud
🚶 a walk down your street
🌷 flowers blooming in your yard or neighborhood
☀️ the evening light lasting a little longer
🐦 a peaceful moment at the park or around the block

Drop your photos in the comments or send them to us in a message. We may share some of our favorites in a future post.

Let’s see Baldwin in bloom, one neighbor’s view at a time.

🕰️🏬 Throwback Thursday takes us back to 1951 and the opening of what was then called the Baldwin Court Shopping Center, now known as Brownsville Plaza.

📍 Located at Knoedler and Brownsville Road, the shopping center was described in the original clipping as an ultra-modern development with eight storefronts and parking for 300 cars. Businesses mentioned at the time included Thorofare Super Market, Baldwin Court Dairy Mart, Risch’s Pharmacy, and Ruby’s Cleaners.

💬 Places may change names over the years, but they remain part of the everyday story of Baldwin. If you remember Baldwin Court or Brownsville Plaza over the years, we’d love to hear your memories in the comments.

📸 If you have old photos of the plaza or the surrounding area, feel free to share them in the comments too. We always love seeing pieces of Baldwin’s history through the eyes of the people who lived it.

💜✨ Say Something Nice

Pick one person, one place, or one small moment in Baldwin that deserves a shoutout, then hype it up in the comments.

Not “they’re nice,” more like:
🫶 “You always show up when it counts.”
🌟 “You made my kid feel seen.”
💛 “That little act of kindness stuck with me.”
🔥 “This place never misses.”
