After two weather delays, the Greenbacks show their grit by defending their 4x400 State Championship. The Pratt Boys win a closely contested race over Bishop Miege for the 4A 4x400 State Championship! Congratulations!

Head Softball Coach Mike Forshee announced his retirement from coaching Greenback Girls Softball to the team Monday after Regional play.

Coach Forshee's encouragement and leadership has impacted Greenback Softball teams in an amazing way for over two decades!

His legacy includes an overall record 350-128 in twenty-two years of coaching. In addition, the Greenback under his leadership won 6 CKL Championships, 8 Regional Championships, and 3rd place State Tournament finishes in 2013 and 2017! The capstone of his career was Greenback Softball winning the 4A Division II State Championship in 2014 on our home field at Green Sports here in Pratt!

Please thank Coach Forshee for his legacy of leadership. He will be missed; but we are so thankful he impacted so many athletes over his tenure as softball coach.

The PHS Track will be resurfaced starting on Friday, May 22.

Thus the Zerger Field Complex will be closed for a couple of weeks. The playground, football field and track are all off-limits for the duration of the project. This is true both for USD 382 usage by summer weights, football etc and also true for the community walkers etc. We need to keep all Greenbacks safe and this is a requirement in order to complete the project.

We will let you know as soon as Zerger Field is open again to all Greenbacks. Thanks for your help in spreading the word.
