Join us on Tuesday, September 1 from 6:30 to 7:30pm at Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch for Meditation with Kamini. This mindfullness series repeats on the first Tuesday of the month September through December.

Discover the power of presence with mindfulness meditation led by Kamini. Kamini is a yoga and meditation teacher certified by the Art of Living Organization. The class begins with gentle stretching and breathwork, and ends with a guided meditation. This meditation series invites you to find clarity, deepen self-awareness and embrace moments of stillness and peace.

Chairs will be provided. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, or floor cushion if that is more comfortable for you. For teens and adults.

Reading Buddies is a great program for emerging readers at the elementary level. Young readers read out loud to teen volunteers and also do fun activities. Reading out loud is beneficial for everyone. It builds vocabulary, improves listening skills and models fluent reading! Teen volunteers earn 1 hour of community service as well!
