Our much beloved Fall Local Author Fair is back for 2026! Join us on Saturday, November 14th, from 2:00 - 5:00 to meet and talk with a variety of local authors, with the option to purchase copies. Check back in October for the list of presenting authors.

Do you know we have wishlists for Rochambeau Library? Many of our generous patrons ask how they can support us: these wishlists are a great way to do so! We've put a variety of supplies and books we'd love to have at the library on both of our wishlists. For books, we have a list at local bookstore Books on the Square, and our list on Amazon contains a selection of programming supplies and food items for our free food pantry. You may remember in the past few months there's been some instability and issues with the current mobile app for the catalog. To address this, the team at Ocean State Libraries has launched a new app: hopefully, this will be more stable and provide a better user experience! Visit catalog.oslri.net/mobileapp today to get started with the Ocean State Libraries Catalog app and enjoy an improved library experience right from your phone!

The current Ocean State Libraries Mobile app will continue to work through October 31, giving you plenty of time to make the switch.
