During NeighborWorks Week, we proudly celebrate Community Health Workers and Resident Services Coordinators who show up every day for our residents with compassion, dedication, and heart. Their work includes addressing housing instability, navigating crises, managing complex systems, and connecting residents with essential resources, advocacy, supportive services, and care.

Izzy is our Resident Services Coordinator and has been with ONB for nearly two years. In this role, he assists residents with job searches, resume building, and connecting them to community programs and municipal resources. Izzy also collaborates with residents and property management to establish payment agreements, either through property management or the court system.

Programs Izzy can help connect residents with include:

LIHEAP, and Housing Stability programs
Eviction Prevention Programs
SNAP and Benefits Support



Durante la Semana NeighborWorks, celebramos con orgullo a los Trabajadores de Salud Comunitaria y a los Coordinadores de Servicios para Residentes que están presentes todos los días para nuestros residentes con compasión, dedicación y corazón. Su trabajo incluye abordar la inestabilidad de vivienda, navegar crisis, gestionar sistemas complejos y conectar a los residentes con recursos esenciales, defensa, servicios de apoyo y atención.

Izzy es nuestro Coordinador de Servicios para Residentes y ha estado con ONB durante casi dos años. En este rol, ayuda a los residentes con la búsqueda de empleo, la elaboración de currículums y la conexión con programas comunitarios y recursos municipales. Wendy serves as our Resident Services Manager and has been with ONB for nearly five years. In her role, she supports the team in all aspects of resident services work, including assisting staff with difficult and high-needs cases, helping identify next steps and problem-solving strategies, and providing guidance related to SNAP benefits, housing resources, and community supports.

NeighborWorks Week is here — and we're celebrating! 🏘️

From May 23rd through June 7th, One Neighborhood Builders is proud to join NeighborWorks network organizations across the country in celebrating the 2026 theme: Creating Homes, Building America. NeighborWorks Week is a time to highlight the collective power of communities working together — mobilizing volunteers, partners, and civic leaders to expand affordable housing, build financial stability, and strengthen the places we call home.

We're especially excited to welcome Emily Rosenbaum, Senior Relationship Manager for the Northeast Region at NeighborWorks America, who will be joining us this week to present to our Board of Directors.

Development Update! Take a look at these side-by-side progress photos of The Avenue. This development is progressing nicely. The exterior of the building continues to be bolstered with siding as significant strides are made on the interior. This affordable development, located in the heart of Federal Hill in Providence, will create 39 new units of income-restricted housing. The Avenue features 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units with on-site parking, laundry room, a fitness room, and over 3,000 square feet of commercial space. East Providence, RI – As housing affordability continues to drive conversations across the state of Rhode Island, the City of East Providence is announcing a housing forum to bring municipal leaders, state and local housing organizations and the community together for an open discussion.

The City of East Providence is collaborating with RIHousing, One Neighborhood Builders, Housing Network of Rhode Island, HousingWorks RI, NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley, and Foster Forward to discuss ongoing efforts throughout our community and state, as well as diving into common misconceptions about “affordable housing”.

The East Providence Housing Forum will be held in East Providence City Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 6 to 7PM.

Community members are welcome to attend and bring their questions to the forefront to be answered by a wide range of housing experts.

The City of East Providence - Office of the Mayor is inviting residents to submit questions in advance of its upcoming housing forum to help guide discussion and address community concerns.

Yesterday, members of our real estate development team, Michelle Bleau and Steve Kearns, joined the Executive Office of Housing for an exclusive look into how our Residences at Riverside Square development came to be. This beautiful development provides 16 affordable apartments, including 3 reserved for youth aging out of foster care, in the Riverside neighborhood of East Providence.
