We want to ask for everyone's help in keeping our fish cleaning stations clean, functional, and available for all visitors to enjoy.

Recently, we've experienced several clogs and mechanical issues caused by items such as stringers, rags, and other trash being placed into the grinders, as well as grinders being overloaded with fish waste. Unfortunately, this has resulted in frequent cleaning needs and costly repairs. At this time, the fish cleaning station on the north side of the park is temporarily out of service while we wait for replacement parts.

To help keep the stations running smoothly, please remember:
- Only fish parts should go into the grinder
- Do not place stringers, rags, plastics, or trash into the system
- Avoid overloading the grinder and allow it to run properly
- Please clean up the area before leaving.

These stations are provided as a convenience to the public, and with everyone's cooperation, we can keep them working properly for all anglers.

Thank you for doing your part and helping us take care of this shared resource!

Oh SHELL NO! Colorado’s drinking water could look a lot different in the future due to invasive species in the water. Clean, drain and dry your kayaks, paddleboards and other gear to help stop the spread of aquatic nuisance species (ANS) in the water.

🚨ATTENTION🚨 Starting May 1st‼️
Vehicles entering any state park displaying a license plate from anywhere other than Colorado will be required to purchase a $15 Out-of-State Daily Vehicle Pass. Vehicles displaying a Colorado license plate will still be charged the $10 Daily Vehicle Pass unless there is already an associated pass (KCW, Annual, Columbine, etc.) with the vehicle or occupants.

The Parks and Wildlife Commission approved the increase in the Out–of-State Daily Vehicle Pass fee during the March 2026 meeting. The funds generated from the increase will support important work to maintain and enhance state parks throughout the state. A variable price structure between residents and nonresidents is something that has long been codified within regulations for hunting and fishing licenses. Similarly, this decision is not out of line with how other states charge variable fees for non-residents for admission to their state parks.

When a customer purchases a Daily Vehicle Pass ($10) or an Out-of-State Daily Vehicle Pass ($15) at any park entrance gate, the pass must be attached to their windshield where it can be easily seen by park staff.

Due to recent vandalism, the automatic gate at the South Boat Ramp is no longer operational. This damage is significant and will require costly repairs.

Our team is working as quickly as possible to secure the necessary parts and restore the gate. We hope to get the parts today, but there are no guarantees. We appreciate your patience as we address this issue.

Until repairs are complete, the South Boat Ramp will be open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

With unseasonably warm temperatures, we are seeing higher-than-normal traffic at the North Boat Ramp. To accommodate the increased use, we will be opening the South Boat Ramp early.

Starting Friday, March 27, the South Boat Ramp will open at 7:00 AM.

Inspection hours will be 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After hours, you'll still be able to exit thanks to the automatic gates.

If you plan to be out past 6:00 PM (when the North Boat Ramp closes), please plan to launch from the south ramp.

All decons will be performed at the North Boat Ramp until April 1st.

Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy your time on the water!

Spring is here and so are our new boat ramp hours! Starting April 1st here are our new hours.
