Join Lake Pueblo State Park for an insect pinning presentation and demonstration with Jake Sims! Learn about the process of preserving insect specimens through pinning and discover how collections can help us better understand the natural world.

We will also discuss ethical insect collecting practices, including how to collect responsibly while respecting wildlife and the environment.

📍 Visitor Center Auditorium
The Visitor Center is located on the south side of the reservoir, before the South Marina.

Join us for a youth fishing clinic at Anticline Fishing Pond located in the Rock Canyon area of Lake Pueblo State Park.
Participants will go over the basics of angling and casting before fishing with provided equipment. Youth under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license. This program is free with a valid Colorado State Parks pass. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
