💙 Celebrating Service, Growth & Community 💙
A huge shoutout to Cody, Luke, Jesus & Alex, four amazing students from Quakertown Community High School's ASPIRE Program. They spent the school year helping keep the Quakertown Food Pantry shelves stocked and ready to serve our neighbors in need.
On the first two Tuesdays of every month, Cody, Luke, Jesus & Alex worked alongside Pantry volunteers Kathy Ramspacher, Sue Ketterer, and Mary Ann Angelo, as well as their school aides, to help replenish food inventory and support the important work of the Pantry. Their dedication, positive attitudes, and willingness to serve made a meaningful difference to our organization and the families we serve.
In early June, all four young men were recognized for their service to the community at a special recognition luncheon. We were equally honored to see Kathy, Sue & Mary Ann recognized for their commitment to mentoring and supporting these outstanding young men throughout the year.
The ASPIRE Program (Acquiring Skills, Professionalism, Independence, and Responsibility for Education/Employment) provides young adults ages 18–21 with opportunities to build independence, job readiness, and life skills through hands-on experiences in the community. Programs like ASPIRE help students gain confidence, develop workplace skills, and prepare for successful futures.
We are grateful to Cody, Alex, Jesus & Luke for sharing their time and talents with us and thankful for our partnership with the Quakertown Community School District. Together, we're building a stronger, more inclusive community—one act of service at a time. 💙
