It’s hot outside. Who wants ice cream? 😋🍦 Our Science of Technology students are cooling off while putting their STEM skills to work! They explored everyone’s favorite summertime treat, combining hands-on learning with a little sweet fun. 🔬💻🍨

It looks like the fire is 85% contained and families are able to move back home...yeah! We are going to plan on having school tomorrow. If something changes, I will let you all know.

We are going to cancel school for tomorrow. We are hopeful that tomorrow brings an end to the fire and we will see everyone back at school on Wednesday!

Hello Wonderful Mater Families!

I hope this email finds all of our families safe and away from the fire.

Following the Governor's declaration of a State of Emergency for our area, we are cancelling school for tomorrow. Hoping they can get containment of the fire soon and we can safely return to school on Tuesday.

We are building our understanding of the concept of “disguise.” Students each drew a character in disguise, using their creativity to show how a character might look different from their true identity.
