🚌 IMPORTANT BUS ROUTE REMINDERS

As we get ready for the new school year, we want to share a few important transportation reminders with our families:

Please check BusRight for your student’s bus stop location and pickup time. Bus routes have changed this year, so please double-check your student’s information before the first day of school.

BusRight Information:
Parents of students using bus transportation should have received an email from the Transportation Department through BusRight, our bus transportation app. This email includes information to help you access your student’s transportation details.

If your child uses bus transportation and you have not received an email from BusRight, please contact the Transportation Department at [email protected] for assistance.

Be at the Stop 5 Minutes Early:
Students should be at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before their scheduled pickup time. This helps our buses stay on schedule and ensures students are ready when the bus arrives.

Riding a Different Bus or Using a Different Stop:
If your student will be riding a different bus home with a friend or getting off at a stop other than their assigned bus stop, they will need a signed permission note from a parent or guardian.

🎉 WELCOME BACK, MADISON! 🎉

We’re kicking off another great school year! 🐾

Superintendent Randy Lords welcomed our incredible faculty and staff back with a special presentation as we officially begin the 2026–2027 school year!

Today and tomorrow, our teams are coming together for inservice, faculty trainings, and breakout sessions. They will be collaborating, and preparing to make this an amazing year for our students. 📚✨

We are so fortunate to have so many dedicated and talented staff members who work together every day to make Madison School District such a wonderful place to learn, grow, and belong.

🔥 Fired Up for a New School Year! 🔥

Our Madison High School Social Studies Department kicked things off with a barbecue today! 🍔🌭

It was a great chance to catch up, share stories from summer, enjoy some good food, and get excited for another year of learning, teaching, and making history together!

We love seeing our staff reconnect and bring that energy into a brand-new school year. Here’s to a great year ahead at MHS! ❤️🐾

📚 MADISON ONLINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 💻

Looking for a flexible learning option for your student in grades 4–6? Madison Online Elementary offers asynchronous learning with the flexibility for students to work at their own pace.

✨ What you need to know:
• Courses include ELA, Math, History & Science
• Weekly 45-minute online class meetings
• Teacher support available online and/or in person
• No additional cost
• Student laptop/Chromebook and internet connection required
• Student workbooks provided at registration
• Blended learning options are also available

• Trimester 1: September 8

Celebrate Youth is in a few days (Tuesday 18th @ Porter Park 2-7pm) We have amazing vendors, fun activities, and awesome raffles! We can’t wait to have a fun day with you all!! Bus transportation to the park from MJH and MMS will be available from 1:30-7:30 - please no large items in the bus
