A special moment at the ballpark! ⚾

Madison Cares Director Rick Croft had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch during Mental Health Awareness Night at the Idaho Falls Chukars game.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to help raise awareness, encourage conversations, and remind others that mental health matters. Thank you to everyone working to support the well-being of our students, families, and communities.

Way to represent Madison Cares, Rick! 👏

Congratulations to South Fork Elementary’s 3rd graders — officially published authors!

Students completed an amazing oral history project about the 1976 Teton Dam collapse, interviewing local residents and preserving their stories in a full-color, 120-page book that is now available on Amazon.

Along the way, students visited the Teton Dam site, learned from Alisha Tietjen of the museum and city council about the upcoming 50th anniversary commemoration, and even received interviewing tips from local news reporter Nate Eaton.

We are so proud of these young historians, writers, and storytellers for creating something truly meaningful for our community!

UPDATE from Transportation team - Please see corrected times! (Change made : 12:37 to corrected 12:07)

Dear Parents,

We have made changes this year to the SUMMER SCHOOL bus routes for several reasons. Students will need to go to the elementary school nearest their home, and a shuttle bus will pick them up from the elementary school and transport them to the middle school.

When school dismisses, buses will pick up students at the middle school and transport them back to the elementary school. Parents will be responsible for getting their students to and from the elementary school, as there will not be any neighborhood bus stops this year.

Bus schedules are as follows:

Students will load at their elementary school at 7:50 a.m., and buses will depart all elementary schools by 8:05 a.m. to arrive at the middle school by 8:20 a.m. Buses will depart the middle school at 12:07p.m. to transport students back to the elementary schools for the afternoon ride home.

This schedule does not apply to students with special needs who require specialized transportation and a bus aide.
If you have any questions, please contact our transportation team - 208-359-3265

Respectfully,

Madison Transportation Team
