🥣 Rhinelander Area Food Pantry Volunteers Making a Difference!

We’re proud of our pantry volunteers who spent Saturday morning packing oatmeal with Food4Kidz!
Our team included Malisa, Jodie, Drake, Dave, Brenda and her sister Sue, Jeanne and her husband David, Ann, Angie, her daughters and sister. (Please forgive us if we missed anyone!)

Our two tables (with a few extra helpers) packed more than 34 cases in just two hours!

And look at what our combined efforts helped accomplish:

🥣 690 cases packed in one day!
🍽️ 219,840 meals!
🙌 506 packagers working together!
🎉 3.1 MILLION meals packaged by Food4Kidz Northwoods over 18 years!

We’re grateful to be part of an effort that helps fight childhood hunger and supports children in our communities.

Because Full Bellies Make Strong Bodies, Smart Brains & Healthy Hearts! ❤️

A huge shoutout and thank you to School District of Rhinelander and the incredible RHS students who volunteered in our community this past Wednesday!

These hardworking students spent their time at the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry helping us with:

• Stocking shelves to keep our pantry ready for families
• Yard work to tidy up our grounds
• Winter weather prep to get us ready for the cold months ahead

We are so grateful for your hard work, energy, and community spirit. You make Rhinelander proud! 💚

We had a great visit recently from the Hunger Task Force, Inc.! Did you know they are Wisconsin’s leading anti-hunger organization?

The Hunger Task Force believes everyone deserves access to healthy food with dignity and does amazing work across Wisconsin. They act as a major food bank resource—delivering healthy food, pantry staples, and fresh goods to community pantries.

In addition to their incredible work as a food bank, they fund and organize the Hunger Relief Federation of Wisconsin. This statewide coalition brings independent pantries like the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry together so we can learn from each other, share fundraising strategies, and work together to get state food grants.

Working with them helps us make sure anyone walking through our doors has what they need to put a meal on the table. Huge thanks for stopping by and supporting our mission!
