🎉 RCTC celebrates $1.7 million in federal funding to advance two important regional rail projects: the Metrolink Double Track Project and the Mead Valley Station/Mobility Hub Project.

These projects will improve transit reliability, expand rail service, and create new connections for Riverside County residents. We appreciate Rep. Mark Takano and our federal partners for supporting transportation investments that improve mobility and quality of life across the region.

🚧 Construction Activity Extended: Alternating lane closures at the intersection of Case Road and Murrieta Road in Perris have been extended through Tuesday, August 18.

The lane closures are needed to safely allow crews to relocate and install fire hydrants and waterlines as part of the Perris-South Metrolink Station and Layover Facility Project.

🚘 What is a part-time shoulder lane?

At the northbound I-15 Rancho California Road direct on-ramp, the shoulder may temporarily operate as an additional travel lane while the ramp meter is operating.

Before entering the ramp, check the overhead signal:

🟢 Green arrow: The shoulder lane is open. Motorists may use either lane and should follow the ramp-meter signal.

❌ Red X: The shoulder lane is closed and you should not drive on the shoulder.

The shoulder lane may be open during one trip and closed during another. Always watch the overhead signs and follow the displayed signal.

The Mid County Parkway Ramona Expressway Project has reached a major milestone! 🎉

Crews have successfully completed the installation of 20 cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) foundations for the new San Jacinto River bridge. These deep foundations will provide essential support for the new bridge, marking another important step toward improving safety and mobility along Ramona Expressway. 🚧
