We love our CASA Volunteers!

Help us welcome our freshly sworn in CASAs Tamra,
Donald, and Alondra!

They are now part of a team of 32 CASA volunteers who have braved the 30+ hours of training, and will now support local children.

Last year our CASA Volunteers touched the lives of 53 children. Nationally, 99% of children were safe from additional abuse or neglect once assigned a CASA volunteer, and 94% of children experienced stability with their CASA volunteer.

High school sophomore Ethan has been in foster care on and off since he was a toddler. By the time he entered high school, Ethan had cycled through a dozen foster families and group homes.

Consequently, he experienced significant mental health challenges. He was failing classes, struggled to make and keep friends, and was often unwilling to speak with social workers or foster parents.

Then Ethan was matched with CASA volunteer Brian.

Ethan changed homes several more times after meeting Brian. But with Brian's unwavering support and advocacy, Ethan was able to consistently access vital mental health services, helping him navigate his challenges and ensuring he didn't slip through the cracks.

With 941 CASA/GAL state organizations and local programs advocating for over 227,000 children and youth, your participation in Walk Run Thrive this September 28-29 can help provide the same kind of life-changing support to more children and youth in need.
