Please see the three attached flyers for information about Fall Sports Information Sessions at Parkside High School, James M. Bennett High School, and Wicomico High School.
These sessions are a great opportunity for students and families to learn about athletic programs, meet coaches, and receive important information about participation requirements for the upcoming school year.

Last Thursday, two Salisbury Middle School orchestra students attended the county awards banquet held at Wicomico High School. Earlier this month, Erick Jung and Celine Kim earned Superior ratings at the state solo and ensemble festival at the University of Maryland. Their orchestra director, Ms. Cook, joins them in this photo. Congrats to these students for their hard work and dedication!

Members of Ms. Cook's Mardela Middle/High and Salisbury Middle Combined Orchestra attended Busch Gardens on Friday May 22nd and competed in their annual Music in the Parks competition. We had an amazing time making music and riding the roller coasters! We scored an "excellent" rating for our performance. Congrats to these students for representing us so well!

The 8th Grade Dinner Dance will be held on May 29th, from 6-8pm at Salisbury Middle School. We welcome our 8th grade students to our red-carpet evening, dressed to impress. This year's theme is a Night in Hollywood! Dinner is included with the purchase of a dance ticket. Tickets will be on sale the week of May 26th through May 29th during student lunches for $10. Students must meet dance eligibility requirements to attend.

Dance Eligibility Requirements:
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0, as required by county policy.
Students must not have served any Out-of-School Suspensions (OSS) during the current semester.
Students may have no more than 2 unexcused absences 45 days prior to the date of the dance.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCCER FINALE!

The Wicomico Public Schools Middle School Soccer Culminating Event is set for Wednesday, May 20th at the Fruitland Falcon Fields from 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM!
We are excited to welcome student-athletes from across the county for a great day of soccer, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

☀️ IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARTICIPATING STUDENT-ATHLETES:
It is expected to be very HOT on Wednesday. All student-athletes are responsible for bringing a refillable water bottle and dressing appropriately for the weather. Iced water will be available on-site for teams throughout the event.

Please note that all library books will be due back to Salisbury Middle School's media center by Friday, May 22nd. Students in 8th grade will not be permitted to attend the 8th grade dance, 8th grade field trip, or the 8th grade award ceremony until all books and/or fines are addressed. Please encourage your students to return their library books or pay for any that are lost. Thank you."
