Did you know the Salt Lake City Cemetery has a dedicated volunteer group helping preserve its history and beauty?

Friends of the SLC Cemetery works with community members and local organizations to keep our cemetery a place for reflection, learning, and connection for generations to come. How do they do this? By hosting events like cleanups and tree planting with support from our very own Public Lands!

Friends of the SLC Cemetery is also working toward getting the cemetery recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.

Want to get involved? Their next volunteer cleanups are on the evenings of Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4 and the morning of Saturday, June 6 following Memorial Day weekend.

Visit friends-slc-cemetery.com to learn more and join the effort.
