HEAVY FLOODING RAINS 🌧 AGAIN TONIGHT ‼ Another multiple-round- MCS event is likely to occur tonight, especially across central including the area. This will expand westward into central and back into as well. Places that don't need the rain!

Keep this in mind as you embark on your wild Saturday night plans and remember to turn around and don't drown!

TODAYS RING OF FIRE SEVERE POTENTIAL focuses most on and western . Morning storms will move out bringing mainly a fo tinned flooding risk, and perhaps a damaging gust or two.

Later this evening as a surface low/MCV tracks eastward, new storms are expected to form, with wind once again as the main mode given high PWATS, but a brief tornado may also be possible if a supercell mode is somewhat maintained.

Record-breaking flooding hit eastern Indiana after extreme rainfall sent rivers surging in a matter of hours.
The West Fork Whitewater River near Alpine climbed from around 5 feet to nearly 22 feet, exceeding major flood stage and illustrating just how quickly conditions changed across the region.

No tornado required.

Spotters have confirmed a tornado on the ground in central Illinois, currently between Sadorus and Seymour, about 8 miles southwest of Champaign, and it's cutting southeast at roughly 40 mph. Piatt, Champaign and Douglas Counties are under the warning until 4:15 PM CDT, with Tolono, Pesotum, Willard Airport, Villa Grove, Broadlands and Newman all in its path along with stretches of I-57 and I-72. Quarter size hail is riding along too. If you're in this path, get to the lowest floor of a sturdy building now, away from windows.
