Today we share a heartfelt message from Mrs. Patricia Guarneri as she says goodbye to the Steubing Ranch Elementary community. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership, compassion, and dedication to our students, staff, and families. She has made a lasting impact on our campus, and while she will be greatly missed, we wish her nothing but the very best in her next chapter. Once a Spur, always a Spur ❤️
Dear Steubing Ranch Elementary Families and Staff,
It is with a full heart that I share some personal news with you. Effective July 2, 2026, I have resigned from my position as Assistant Principal at Steubing Ranch Elementary as I pursue a new professional opportunity. While I am excited for what lies ahead, leaving this community is not something I have taken lightly.
The relationships I have built with the students, families, and staff of Steubing Ranch are the greatest gift of my time here. I have been inspired daily by the dedication of our teachers and staff, the trust and partnership of our families, and, above all, the warmth, curiosity, and resilience of our students. These are the things I will carry with me always.
To our families: Thank you for welcoming me into your children’s lives and for the countless ways you have supported this school. Thank you for the trust you placed in me with your children—it is a responsibility I have never taken for granted. Your commitment to your children’s education made this work meaningful every single day.
To our staff: It has been one of the greatest honors of my career to serve alongside you. What you do for students goes far beyond the classroom—you show up early, stay late, and pour yourselves into every child who walks through your doors. But what makes Steubing Ranch truly exceptional is not just what each of you does individually—it is the culture you have built together. The collaboration, the trust, and the genuine care you have for one another and for this school is something I have rarely seen and will always admire. You are a team in every sense of the word.
I also want you to know how deeply I value the support and kindness you showed me from the moment I arrived at Steubing Ranch. The warmth and appreciation you extended to me—especially throughout this past school year—meant more to me than words can express. You went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, valued, and at home, and I will be forever grateful.
To our Steubing Ranch PTA: Thank you for the incredible support and partnership you extended to me throughout my time here. Your dedication to this campus and to our students is unwavering, and it was a privilege to work alongside such a committed and passionate group. I am especially honored to have received the Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership this year—a recognition I will always treasure and carry with pride.
Steubing Ranch Elementary will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I have no doubt that this community will continue to thrive. Thank you for the memories, the support, and the opportunity to serve such an incredible school community.
