💫Hello! I am Sir Larre Dolberry III and I'll be joining Serna as the 3rd Grade Moonshot Associate Teacher! 🌖

I've been working as a substitute teacher for NEISD for two years as a way to garner experience on my way to becoming a teacher. ⭐️ Working here is another step closer to that goal while also working to receive my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, San Antonio. 🏫

I have some experience in the classroom from being a substitute teacher but this will be my first time working a more consistent schedule and being a part of a team! 💙 I look forward to learning more from experience and being able to have a positive impact on the students who attend Serna Elementary. 🦭

Some things I enjoy doing in my own time are playing videogames, 🎮 reading various kinds of books 📚 for fun or information and hanging out with my family and friends. 💫

I'm excited to finally start the new school year as an Associate Teacher at Serna Elementary! 📝

Today, our Serna Seals were busy getting classrooms ready to welcome our students and families next week—and we know they didn’t do it alone!

✨A HUGE shout-out to the spouses, families, friends, custodians, and loved ones who gave up some of their Saturday to move furniture, hang things, organize, clean, assemble, decorate, and do all the little (and BIG!) things that help a teacher turn a classroom into a place that feels like home. 🥰

Your support may happen behind the scenes, but it makes a BIG difference in the lives of our teachers and students. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for the extra hands and hearts that help make Serna special! ⭐️

✨Hi! I’m Allyson Gutierrez, and I’m so excited to be joining the second-grade team! 💙🦭This will be my second year teaching, and I earned my degree in education from Texas Tech University. 🎓I was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from MacArthur High School, 🐂 so I’m especially excited to be back home and teaching in the community where I grew up. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my puppy, Archie, 🐾 reading, 📚 watching the Spurs, 🏀 and spending time with my family and friends. I can’t wait for a wonderful school year! ⭐️

I have a strong background in music, 🎶 with over 20 years of playing 🎷and 15 years of leadership in music. I truly love helping students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through learning. 📓✏️📚
Before teaching, I also served in the Army for 10 years as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. 🇺🇸That experience taught me discipline, leadership, and the importance of working together 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾—values I’m excited to bring into our classroom community. ⭐️💫

🦭I am excited to begin a new chapter as a fourth-grade teacher and join a new campus community! ⭐️While I may be new to the campus, I bring 21 years of teaching experience, a bachelor's degree in Education, and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 🎓My passion for teaching continues to grow, and I am ready to bring my experience, energy, and enthusiasm into the classroom!✨
I believe every student can succeed when they feel seen, supported, and challenged.
