🙌🏼🎉📣What soooo many have been waiting for!!!!We are so excited to 🙌🏼welcome back all our 🤠Pioneer Athletes. As we begin the first week of school we are hosting Open Gym for 🏐Volleyball. 🚨Flag football 🏈 and 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️cross country tryouts!!!

Chocolate milk is back in IDEA cafeterias! It’s joining our meal lineup as an additional choice—unflavored milk will still be available at every meal, every day.

And this isn’t the chocolate milk you may remember. Today’s school chocolate milk meets updated federal nutrition standards.

Bringing it back is about more than adding another choice—it’s about listening to our students. Thank you for speaking up. We heard you, and we’re excited to bring back an option you’ve been asking for! 💛💙

Dear IDEA Ewing Halsell Pioneer Families,

We are excited to welcome you to Meet the Teacher on Friday, August 7! Entrance will be through the GYM ONLY (Please see attached maps).

🕙 Event Times
New to IDEA Families: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Returning Families: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

During your visit, you will:

✅ Drop off school supplies
✅ Meet your scholar's teachers
✅ Visit classrooms
✅ Receive important information for the first day of school

⚠️ Important Registration Reminder
Before going to your scholar's homeroom classroom, all families must complete the Income Survey if it has not already been submitted.

Our Operations team will have an Income Survey Station available to assist you. Completing this step before the event will help ensure a smooth Meet the Teacher experience.

Familias nuevas en IDEA: 10:00 a. m. – 12:00 p. m.

Durante su visita podrán:

🤠🎉Please join us in 🎉congratulating Mr. Matthew Perez on his new role as an Assistant Principal of Instruction at 💡IDEA Ewing Halsell Academy!

Over the past years at IDEA Ewing Halsell College Prep, Mr. Perez has served as a 6th Grade Math Teacher, 6th Grade Team Leader, Regional 6th Math Course Leader, National Honor Society Sponsor, and Coach. His dedication 🫶🏼 to instructional excellence, student achievement, and leadership has made a lasting impact on our community.

We are 🙌🏼excited to 📣welcome Mr. Perez to the Academy Leadership Team and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make in support of our student, families, and staff.

Is your student ready to represent the Pioneers this fall? Tryout season is almost here, and we can't wait to see our student athletes in action!

📋 Before your student can participate in tryouts, they must complete their athletic packet which includes physical and be officially cleared. Don't wait until the last minute—get those forms turned in now even if you will be participating in a winter/spring sport. Let’s get ready to hit the ground running!

Athletic packets will be available during Meet the Teacher - Aug. 7th or you can click the link below to download. All forms and packets will be turned in to the coach of the sport your scholar is trying out for the day of tryouts. Tryouts TBD.

🍂 Fall Sports Include:
🏃 Middle School & High School Cross Country
🏈 Flag Football
🏐 Volleyball
