The New Mexico Film Office sat down with Albuquerque-based resident Maurice Greene to discuss his role in the feature film "Onslaught."

In the film, which opens on Friday, Sept. 4, Greene plays Teddy. The production filmed in Albuquerque.

Greene is a member of the New Mexico film community after a successful career in the UFC. Fun fact, he also has a business where he sells the items he crochets.

NMFO sat down with New Mexico-based actor Steven Ray Byrd, who tirelessly worked via social media to help "Coyote vs. Acme" get to the screen.

Byrd plays a lawyer in the film and is attending the Los Angeles premiere.

When filming, the production was eager to reach out to local talent, both on-camera and behind the-scenes, employing approximately 180 New Mexico crew members, 49 New Mexico principal actors, and approximately 2,120 New Mexico background talent.

"Coyote vs. Acme" hits theaters on Aug. 28. Congratulations to the hard-working New Mexicans who worked on the project.

Native New Mexican Steven Maes sat down with the New Mexico Film Office about his time on the second season of 'Ransom Canyon" as the graphic designer.

Maes, a veteran of the film industry, has worked his way up in the industry and participated in the film office's Film Crew Advancement Program (FCAP). He says supporting New Mexico projects helps the local economy.

He is just one story of the many amazing New Mexicans who are the foundation of the film industry.
