Filmed in New Mexico alert! Tune into and watch "Miss You, Love You."

The feature film stars Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells as they tell the story of a woman forced to make her husband’s funeral arrangements with her estranged son’s assistant, whom she has never met.

The film is directed by Jim Rash and produced by Kevin Walsh, Nat Faxon, Gigi Pritzker, and Rachel Shane.

The production employed over 100 New Mexicans – 50 crew members and 75 background talent. It filmed in Albuquerque and Placitas. Watch the film and let us know what you recognize.

Tomorrow, a story shaped in New Mexico premieres in Cannes.

I’ll Be Gone in June, directed by Katharina Rivilis and produced by Wim Wenders, is an official Un Certain Regard selection at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

Set in Las Cruces, the film follows a 16-year-old exchange student finding her way in an unfamiliar place at a moment of change.

New Mexico is not just the setting. It is part of the story, in the landscape, the light, and the moments in between.

The New Mexico Film Office is proud to have supported its journey to Cannes.
