🌟 Meet our Tiny Tots families! 🌟

Every Tuesday and Wednesday morning during the school year, Court #1 at the Heckart Community Center comes alive with Tiny Tots! From 9-11 am, kids under 5 and their parents or grandparents fill the court with energy and laughter as they slide, ride, and run around!

With a variety of four-wheelers and a fan-favorite bounce house set up by HCC staff, kids make new friends while parents and grandparents connect. 🌟 Madi and her daughter Emmy met Ashlyn and her son Duncan at HCC over a year ago, and they’ve been best friends ever since! “We’ll be spending a lot of time here this winter,” Ashlyn shares, especially when the weather isn’t ideal.

Ashlyn and Madi love that their kids can play with toys they don’t have at home and enjoy watching them explore in a fun, safe environment. The walkers upstairs even enjoy the entertainment, watching the Tiny Tots in action below!

And, when winter hits, both families plan to visit the indoor pool at least once a week. Tiny Tots is included in memberships or day passes, so don’t miss out on the fun! Join us on Court #1 for playtime that’s sure to bring smiles to kids and parents alike.

Meet Albert!

Meet Albert! Albert’s weight-loss journey started with Sedalia Parks and Recreation! Albert is an avid volunteer in our train operations and volunteered his time to be our conductor. 🚂 Albert explains his story of how his journey started and how he is now determined to live a healthier lifestyle with the help of the Heckart Community Center. He is also celebrating his achievement by participating in our Firecracker Mile this July at Liberty Park! 🎆 🏃 He is looking forward to volunteering his time as conductor again and continuing his journey with a healthy lifestyle! Congrats Albert!
