Just in time for the weekend - winter trails at Ninilchik River Campground are now groomed and classic tracks are set!

Located at MP 134.3 of the Sterling Highway. These tails are open to all non-motorized uses and pets.

Before and after photos of removing the wooden boat at Ninilchik Beach. Sadly, due to its deteriorating condition the boat became a safety hazard. This boat was located here for over 20 years and served as a memorial to Bob Chenier, a long-time Ninilchik resident and fisherman.

Eagles can fly up to 30 m.p.h. and can dive at speeds up to 100 m.p.h. 🤯They also have amazing eyesight and can detect prey from two miles away. 👀 Impressive!

The Alaska House of Representatives will be considering cutting 124 acres out of Kachemak Bay State Park this week. Please take a minute this weekend to sign this petition opposing this terrible precedent for Alaska State Parks.
