Things to know: ⁣
⚾️ Your player must be 5 or 6 and celebrate their birthday between 5/1/2018 and 4/30/2020. ⁣
⁣
⚾️ TBR T-Ball is open to players who live in the Thurston High School boundary or attend a Thurston High School feeder school.⁣
⁣
⚾️ Practices will start towards the end of April and games will run from May 19th through June 15th. ⁣
⁣
⚾️ We will have a uniform fitting night once teams are formed.⁣
⁣
⁣

Get ready to kick off the 2025 season! Evaluations for Thurston Babe Ruth players will be held February 1st & 2nd at the Thurston High School baseball field house. Here's what you need to know ⤵️⁣
⁣
▪️ Key Details ▪️⁣
▪️ Registration is required prior to evaluations. Register now: bit.ly/TBRRegistration2025
▪️ Required forms and payments must be completed before evaluation day.⁣
▪️ Bring your baseball gear, tennis shoes, cleats, sweatshirt, and water. No spikes, metal cleats, sunflower seeds, or gum. No Thurston or WVBR All-Star gear.⁣

All players must attend two sessions, preferably both on Saturday.⁣

7th & 8th Graders (Including 12-year-old 7th Graders): 8:00–9:00 AM | 12:30–1:30 PM⁣
10–12-Year-Olds: 9:00–10:30 AM | 1:30–3:00 PM⁣
9 and Under: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM | 3:00–4:30 PM⁣

Sunday, February 2nd⁣

▪️ What to expect ▪️⁣
The Thurston High School Baseball coaching staff will evaluate players in three areas; infield, outfield, and hitting. They will also be looking for attitudes, effort, and potential. The TBR board and coaches do not evaluate or score players. ⁣
⁣
After the second day of evaluations, the TBR board and coaches meet and form teams according to the WVBR guidelines. Scores and comments, provided by the Thurston High School Baseball coaching staff, are tallied and sorted. Coaches will contact each player when teams are finalized.⁣
⁣
▪️ Other things you should know ▪️ ⁣
Parents may stay at evaluations, but they are not allowed in the field house, on the field or near any stations, and may not interact with players during evaluations. ⁣
