May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support mental health and wellness for everyone.

“I’m not good enough.”
“Nobody really cares about me.”
“I’ll never succeed.”

The way we speak to ourselves matters. Negative self-talk can shape our emotions, confidence, and overall mental well-being.

So often, we are much harder on ourselves than we would ever be toward someone we love. You deserve the same understanding, compassion, and encouragement that you give to others.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, make it a priority to care for your mind as much as you care for everyone else. Pause and ask yourself:

“Would I say these words to a friend?”

Be gentle with yourself. Your mental health matters. 💚

We give our bodies breaks by doing things like stretching, looking away from screens, and taking naps. Our bodies need these breaks and rest to function as well as they can.

The same is true for our mental health. After all, the brain is a part of the body! How do you take mental health breaks during the day? Let us know your favorite ways to rest your brain in the comments.

Today we want to extend a HUGE thank you to Keller Williams for choosing our agency for RED Day for the second year in a row! ❤️

We were incredibly honored to welcome a team of 35 amazing volunteers on 5/14/2026 who dedicated their time, energy, and hearts to helping improve our space and support our mission. The impact made in just one day was truly incredible.

A special thank you as well to our generous community partners and donors that contributed to this volunteer event:
• Rexius for providing bark and mulch for landscaping
• Happy's Drive-Thru Car Wash for complimentary car washes for all fleet vehicles
• Mr. Color for specialized professional carpet restoration and steam cleaning
• Team Fundraising: Capital raised by volunteers to fully cover supplies for all additional project materials.

Thanks to everyone involved, we were able to complete numerous projects throughout our facility, including:

✅ Addressing parking lot safety hazards and installing fencing/deterrents
✅ Pressure washing the building, windows, and entryways
✅ Detailing fleet vehicles
✅ Striping the parking lot and staining fencing
✅ Refreshing the front entryway with cleaned and restored benches and fresh mulch
✅ Steam cleaning carpets and improving interior spaces
✅ Completing conference room trim work
✅ Building new storage and shelving solutions
✅ Upgrading office security with new locking cabinet systems

Your kindness, generosity, and dedication help create a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming environment for the individuals and families we serve every day. We are beyond grateful for this partnership and the continued support from our community.

Below are just a few pictures highlighting some of the amazing work completed by the volunteers throughout the day. Their hard work, dedication, and generosity made such a meaningful impact on our agency, and we are incredibly grateful for every individual who gave their time to support our mission. ❤️

Thank you again, Keller Williams and all of our incredible partners and volunteers!❤️
