This week, Shawnee County Kansas and the Shawnee County Department of Corrections recognized Men's Health Week. The campaign included raising awareness of the health challenges facing men and encouraged preventive care, early detection, mental wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Ladies and gentlemen, our Spring 2026 Academy graduates! This group of Corrections Specialists and support staff recently completed a 4 week Corrections Academy, and along the way, gained valuable tools and skills they can utilize in their careers with the department. They worked well as a team and gave maximum effort through everything they did during this academy!
