Today, we pause to remember Communications Supervisor Curtis Reynolds Jr., who passed away on September 25, 2020, after suffering a heart attack while on duty.

Curt dedicated 29 years of service to the Troy Police Department, beginning his career as a Police Service Aide in 1991 before being promoted to Communications Supervisor in 1998. Throughout his career, he received 16 commendations for outstanding service and earned the respect of those around him through his professionalism, calm presence, and willingness to always lend a hand.

Six years later, Curt remains greatly missed and fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Today, we honor his memory and his many years of dedicated service to the Troy community.

25 Years Later. We Remember.

Today marks 25 years since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running to safety. And we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed one of the darkest days in our nation's history.

Twenty-five years later, their service and sacrifice have not been forgotten.

Today, the Troy Police Department joins communities across our nation in honoring those we lost and all whose lives were forever changed.
