Want healthier plants and lower water use? Mulch can be of very "mulch" help because it:

-Holds moisture
-Regulates soil temperatures
-Boosts soil health
-Reduces weeds

Find mulch at local nurseries or buy in bulk from green waste recyclers.

Avoid overfilling your pool. Keeping water levels a little lower helps reduce water loss from splashing and saves water all season long. Every drop counts.

Tucsonans have long led the way in water conservation, helping make our community one of the most water-efficient in the West. And as we face a hotter, drier future with less Colorado River water available, our everyday efforts to save water continue to make a real difference.

Through Tucson Water’s One Water 2100 Plan, our community is planning for a future that supports both a thriving economy and responsible water stewardship – creating a “Sustainable Oasis” for generations to come.

Together, we can protect our most precious resource. Learn more at tucsononewater.com

Thanks to Tucsonans’ commitment to living water-wise, our community uses significantly less water per person today than we did 25 years ago – helping us stay within our Colorado River allocation, store water for the future, and protect the health of the river system.

By continuing to conserve water, we’re helping Tucson remain resilient through drought and warmer temperatures while building a sustainable future for generations to come. 💧

Save water without even thinking about it.

Upgrading to a high-efficiency toilet makes a big impact. Switching from older models to ones that use as little as 0.8 gallons per flush can save 120+ gallons a month.

Look for WaterSense labeled toilets, and check out MaP Premium Certified models to qualify for a $100 rebate.

Small upgrade, big savings!
