So between all the surgeries last week we got to send home Cheesecake, Max, Milo and Otis, and Kali. Happy life you precious babies!

10/24/2026

This is Meo (short for Romeo) - he is a 5 month old Schnoodle (Schnauzer and Poodle mix). He is a sweet boy who needs a family to love him. He wants to run and play, bark at the sky and snuggle on the couch. Meo has been really good with other dogs and is not sure what a cat is. We do believe he will be a small boy and stay small (his weight at neuter was just over 10 pounds). Call us to set up a time to come see Meo.

Last time for the month - PETS will be here Friday, Oct. 23, from 10 am to 2 pm. It is still heartworm special month so again they are giving a FREE heartworm test if you buy a year worth of prevention or a half price test if you buy 6 months worth of prevention. See you there!

10/17/2026

Good morning friends - in between all the bacon festivities take a peek at someone who also loves bacon - Jolene. She is a 9 month old "Cowboy Corgi", which is a heeler and corgi mix. Jolene is SMART and gets along with everyone. She can catch rapid fire treats - every. single. time. No misses! She was a stray out in the county and has proved to be a very good girl. She needs an active family who would love to play with her. She is a loyal friend and would love to be your constant companion.

PETS will be here on Friday, Oct 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is heartworm special month so you get a free heartworm test if you buy a year of prevention, or half off a test with 6 months worth of prevention. Come see us!

You guys saw the post about Bonnie and GG. So let's share some more going home bags from this week! We love our adopters, our artists, and our donors who make all of this possible!

10/10/2026

This handsome boy is Zeke! Zeke is back with us after his original adopter had some health issues. He is a medium size dog, a Collie/Saluki mix, around 4 1/2 years old. He is active, loves love and being told he is a good boy. He would do well with almost anyone. We have not had him around cats since he has come back. Sometimes he can be a bit timid but he is very smart and would make an excellent addition to any family. Open your heart to this boy if you need a dog. He has been overlooked before and his owners were devastated to have to return him.

10/09/2026

These two precious babies got to go home today - Bonnie and G.G. found their forever home with a lovely woman in Crowell. Wilbarger General Hospital's Buddy System sponsored the adoption for us. It is so very important that people have a pet later in life for companionship. The Buddy System and WHS always strive to make the best matches for both the people and the pets. Enjoy your new home!
