With the Health First Indiana funding, we are able to partner with local organizations that truly make a difference.

Live Well Kosciusko is one of those organizations that provides education and resources to the community that helps to expand public health knowledge and access to care in the communities they serve.

One success story recently shared with us was an individual from the Kosciusko Community Senior Center speaking about how the programs, Live Well Kosciusko provided, benefited their health, “My doctor has been so appreciative of me bringing in my weekly blood pressure readings since Alison has been coming into the senior center to take readings every Thursday. Now, my doctor and I work better together to understand why my blood pressure is too high.”

We hope the funding continues so we can support organizations like these! Thank you, Live Well Kosciusko, for all you do!

Week 8 is a big week for growth! Your baby is about the size of a coffee bean. ☕

Eyelid folds and ears are beginning to form, while tiny webbed fingers and toes are developing. Your little one can even move around in the womb, and their heart is already beating about 80–180 times per minute! 💗

Babies sleep… a lot! And whenever they sleep, it should be in a safe place. When your baby needs to sleep away from home, like in a hotel or at a friend or family member’s house, make sure they have a safe place to sleep. At home or on the go, always put your baby to sleep on their back, in their own crib or bassinet, and without anything else near them. Remind anyone who will be caring for your baby to do the same.
